How to create a Bitget API key for AlgoVesta
Follow these steps to generate a trade-only API key on Bitget and connect it to AlgoVesta in minutes.
- Log in to your Bitget account
- Profile > select API Management
- Click Create API
- Enter an API Note, set a Passphrase
- Permissions: enable Trade permission (Withdrawal OFF!)
- Complete verification
- Copy the API Key, Secret Key and Passphrase

Security first: never enable withdrawal permission. AlgoVesta only needs read + trade access — your keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and funds always stay on your own exchange account.
Next: paste your key in Dashboard → API Keys. AlgoVesta verifies the key automatically after saving. Guided setup is also available via the Quick Connect wizard on that page.
