How to create a Hyperliquid API key for AlgoVesta

Follow these steps to generate a trade-only API key on Hyperliquid and connect it to AlgoVesta in minutes.

Go to app.hyperliquid.xyz/api and connect your wallet
Click Generate API Wallet
Approve the signature request in your wallet (MetaMask / WalletConnect)
Set an optional name for the API wallet (e.g. AlgoVesta)
Copy the API Wallet Address as your API Key
Copy the API Wallet Private Key as your Secret Key
Important: keep the private key secure — it controls the API wallet

Security first: never enable withdrawal permission. AlgoVesta only needs read + trade access — your keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and funds always stay on your own exchange account.
