How to create a OKX API key for AlgoVesta
Follow these steps to generate a trade-only API key on OKX and connect it to AlgoVesta in minutes.
- Log in to your OKX account
- Profile icon > select API or go directly to the API page
- Click Create API Key
- Set an API Key name and Passphrase (don't forget the passphrase!)
- Permissions: enable Trade permission
- Complete security verification
- Copy the API Key, Secret Key and Passphrase

Security first: never enable withdrawal permission. AlgoVesta only needs read + trade access — your keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and funds always stay on your own exchange account.
Next: paste your key in Dashboard → API Keys. AlgoVesta verifies the key automatically after saving. Guided setup is also available via the Quick Connect wizard on that page.
