Telegram to Bybit: copy channel signals to your Bybit account

AlgoVesta reads the signal channels you already follow on Telegram, extracts the symbol, direction, entry, stop-loss and targets, and opens the trade on your Bybit account. On USDT perpetuals each target becomes a reduce-only order. You choose the channels, the size and the risk limits; funds stay on Bybit.

How it works

1
Connect Telegram

Sign in with your phone number and the code Telegram sends. No API ID is needed.

2
Pick the channels

Choose which joined channels this bot listens to; other chats are ignored.

3
Connect Bybit

Add a Bybit key with Read-Write and Contract - Trade permissions.

4
Start in paper mode

Watch a few signals fill on a virtual balance, then switch the bot to live.

How a channel post becomes a Bybit order

Signal posts are written by people, so formats vary: emojis, numbered targets, entry ranges, different words for stop-loss. AlgoVesta's parser reads the message and keeps only what an order needs. A post that is not a signal, such as a results screenshot or a market comment, is recorded and skipped.

On Bybit perpetuals the entry is placed at market, the stop-loss and each take-profit are reduce-only conditional orders, and the bot's allocation rule decides how much each target closes. If a post gives an entry range, you choose whether the bot enters anyway, only inside the range, or only within a maximum deviation that you set.

Channels that post spot calls

Some channels post spot buys. On Bybit spot only the stop-loss is placed, because a spot stop-loss and take-profit would reserve the same coins and Bybit rejects the second order. If a channel's style depends on fixed targets, run that channel on Bybit perpetuals instead.

Updates and closes from the channel

Channels often follow up with messages such as moving the stop to entry or closing half. AlgoVesta treats these as management messages for the position the same bot opened. A channel close never touches positions you opened by hand on Bybit.

Before you switch the Bybit bot to live

Channels do not always trade the same list of coins that Bybit lists. A signal for a coin Bybit does not offer as a USDT perpetual is not executed, and the bot card says so. Running the bot in paper mode for a few days shows how many of a channel's calls actually map to Bybit before real money is involved.

Size is the other thing to check. The amount you set is margin; with 10x leverage a $20 setting opens about $200 of contract value. AlgoVesta rounds to the nearest quantity step Bybit accepts and only opens the trade if that step is within 20% of your amount.

Approve signals yourself, or let them run

Every bot can run in manual approval mode: each parsed signal waits as a card in the dashboard until you confirm or reject it. Once you trust how a channel is read, switch approval off and let the bot trade on its own rules.

To see how a specific channel post will be read before you connect anything, paste it into the free Telegram signal parser on this site. A stopped bot ignores incoming messages completely: nothing is opened and no approval cards appear.

Connect your Bybit API key

Create the key in Bybit with these permissions: Read-Write, Contract - Trade. Withdrawal and transfer stay disabled, because AlgoVesta never needs them: it can place and close orders, but it cannot move funds out of your account. Bybit keys have a key and a secret only, with no passphrase.

If you restrict the key to IP addresses, the AlgoVesta connection wizard shows the two server addresses to add. The full click-by-click guide, with what each Bybit screen looks like, is in the help center.

Rules that apply to every order

  • A stop-loss on every order: from the signal, or from your own percentage or distance. No stop-loss source, no order.
  • A daily-loss limit that pauses new entries until the next UTC day.
  • Maximum open positions and maximum trades per day per bot.
  • A panic button that closes what AlgoVesta opened and leaves your own positions alone.

On crypto exchanges an order opens in about 4.1 seconds on average, from the signal arriving to a filled order with its protection attached, measured across AlgoVesta's own executions.

They are executed with a stop-loss only, because Bybit spot cannot hold a take-profit on the same coins at the same time.
