How to create a Bybit API key for AlgoVesta
Follow these steps to generate a trade-only API key on Bybit and connect it to AlgoVesta in minutes.
- Log in to your Bybit account
- Click the profile icon in the top right corner, select API
- Click Create New Key
- API Key Type: select System-generated API Keys
- Enter an API Key name (e.g.
AlgoVesta) - API Key Permissions: select Read-Write, enable Contract - Trade
- Complete security verification, copy the keys

Security first: never enable withdrawal permission. AlgoVesta only needs read + trade access — your keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and funds always stay on your own exchange account.
