AlgoVesta vs PineChord

AlgoVesta vs PineChord: Hosted Execution or EA and Desktop Bridge (2026)

7-day free trial Trade-only API keys — no withdrawal access AES-256 encrypted storage No credit card required
Summary: PineChord executes TradingView alerts and AI-parsed Telegram signals through an Expert Advisor in your MetaTrader 4 or 5 terminal, and through a Windows desktop Bridge for 18 other platforms including crypto exchanges and US brokers. Plans cost $20 to $75 a month by number of account slots. AlgoVesta takes the same two sources plus AI assistants over MCP and runs the execution on its own servers, for MetaTrader 5 and 16 crypto exchanges.

PineChord's design keeps execution on your side: an EA inside MetaTrader, or a Windows Bridge app for platforms MetaTrader cannot reach, and it says it never stores your broker credentials on its servers. AlgoVesta takes TradingView alerts, Telegram signals or an AI assistant over MCP and executes them on 16 crypto exchanges and MetaTrader 5 from its own servers. Facts about PineChord below were checked on its official site on 4 October 2026.

AlgoVesta doesn't blindly copy signals. Every Telegram or TradingView call is checked against your own risk rules and a multi-module verification layer before any order is placed — rule-based execution, not copy-trading.

Orders open in about 4.1 seconds on average on crypto exchanges and about 1.2 seconds on MT5, with your TP/SL and position size.

Setup and day-to-day operation compared

PineChord's setup, as described on its site, takes under five minutes: you install its EA in MetaTrader 4 or 5 and paste a license key, or install the Windows Bridge app for the other platforms it supports. Signals reach the EA or Bridge by a TCP push with an HTTP polling fallback; it uses a secret key per signal, TOTP two-factor login and an audit trail, and it says broker credentials stay off its servers. Because execution happens in your terminal or desktop app, that machine has to be running.

On AlgoVesta you sign in, connect a Telegram account once from the dashboard, pick the channels a bot should listen to, and add either a trade-only API key from your exchange or your MetaTrader 5 login. The MT5 terminal runs on AlgoVesta's own servers, so nothing has to stay open on your computer. Each bot has its own settings: position size, leverage on futures, how take-profit levels are split, a daily-loss limit and a maximum number of open positions. You can start every bot in paper mode with a $5,000 virtual balance before you let it place real orders.

The trade-off is where the connection lives. PineChord keeps your broker credentials on your own machine, which means that machine must stay on; AlgoVesta stores trade-only, encrypted keys on its servers so nothing on your side has to stay online.

Platform coverage in detail

Through its EA PineChord covers MetaTrader 4 and 5 and lists more than 30 forex and CFD brokers, among them Pepperstone, IC Markets and Exness. Through its Bridge it lists 18 further platforms: crypto exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, Bybit, OKX and Kraken, stock brokers such as Alpaca and TastyTrade, and futures platforms such as Tradovate and DXtrade. Its Impactor plans add manual signal dispatch and copy trading for signal providers.

AlgoVesta executes on 16 crypto exchanges, spot and futures, and on MetaTrader 5. It does not support MetaTrader 4, cTrader, DXtrade or TradeLocker. Signals can come from Telegram channels, from TradingView alerts through a webhook, or from an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT over the Model Context Protocol (MCP); MCP connections start in paper mode, and live trading needs a separate key protected by two-factor authentication.

If your accounts are spread across US stock and futures brokers, PineChord's Bridge reaches platforms AlgoVesta does not. If your accounts are crypto exchanges and MetaTrader 5, AlgoVesta covers them without a desktop app.

What each one costs

Checked 4 October 2026 on pinechord.com — verify current prices before deciding.

PineChord prices by account slots: Core $20 a month (2 slots), Pulse $50 (5 slots) and Quantum $75 (10 slots), or $200, $500 and $750 a year. A 7-day free trial with one slot needs no credit card. Impactor plans for signal providers start with a 5-slot trial; larger Scale, Matrix and Infinity tiers are priced on request.

AlgoVesta charges a flat monthly subscription: Starter $39 ($32.50 billed annually), Pro $89 ($74), Elite $179 ($149). Starter covers one market and one signal source; Pro and Elite run crypto and MT5 together with all three sources.

Per account, PineChord costs less, and you supply the machine that runs the EA or Bridge. AlgoVesta's price includes the hosting. Which one costs less depends on how many accounts you run and whether you already keep a VPS.

When PineChord is the better choice

PineChord supports MetaTrader 4, reaches US stock and futures brokers through its Bridge, costs less per account, and keeps broker credentials on your own machine. Signal providers can also dispatch trades to many accounts from its Impactor plans.

To be equally clear about the other side: PineChord's EA and Bridge run on your own computer or VPS, which has to stay on. AlgoVesta hosts the connection for MetaTrader 5 and 16 crypto exchanges and adds AI assistants over MCP as a source.
