How to create a Gate.io API key for AlgoVesta
Follow these steps to generate a trade-only API key on Gate.io and connect it to AlgoVesta in minutes.
- Log in to your Gate.io account
- Profile > select API Management
- Click Create API Key
- Enter an API Key note (e.g.
AlgoVesta) - Permissions: enable Spot Trade + Futures Trade
- Complete verification, copy the keys

Security first: never enable withdrawal permission. AlgoVesta only needs read + trade access — your keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and funds always stay on your own exchange account.
